FAQWhat is NuKazoo?NuKazoo is a free website with a new twist on the age-old idea of an advice column. NuKazoo’s slogan is “Experience is Expertise” and presents everyday situations and how our reader audience members dealt with similar situations in their own lives. In NuKazoo, YOU are the expert that helps others by sharing with them what worked and what didn’t work in a particular situation. NuKazoo offers FREE emails to subscribers to keep them up to date on new situations, surveys and responses to questions posed on the website. Our crazy languageWhat is a Kazoodle?A Kazoodle is the NuKazoo word for “situation” that occurs in our lives where what to do isn’t exactly clear. We’ve all had “kazoodles,” or experiences in the greyness of life, where what to do, or not do, isn’t exactly black or white. We like to think of a kazoodle as similar to a conundrum, but not as serious and more fun to say! What is the Kazoolife survey?The Kazoolife survey question asks for your opinion, preference, point-of-view or specific experience. The survey questions can be answered in such a way that responses can be tallied and reported on as data, such as x% of the audience said "this" y% said "that" and z% said "this other thing." The questions typically will not be multiple choice. What is the Nutshell?The Nutshell is the results of the most recent Kazoolife survey. The results are recapped in brief. More detail is contained in the Archives. What’s a Kazoodler?Each of us is, or can be, a Kazoodler! At some time or another, and possibly often, we are confronted with situations in our everyday life where we’re just not sure how to respond/react/feel/think. But, alas, we end up doing something. Sometimes it works out well, sometimes not. Either way, we learn from the experience. If you’ve had the experience we describe in one of our Kazoodles, OR if you’d like to suggest a situation of your own for others to respond to, we’d love to hear from you! When you write us with either a response OR a situation, you’re a Kazoodler too! How often will NuKazoo present new Kazoodles and Kazoolife survey questions?Since NuKazoo is just beginning, Kazoodles will be new on Mondays, with responses being added each day during the week. The Kazoolife survey question will also be new on Mondays, with the responses summarized each Friday, assuming we get enough responses to summarize meaningfully. As NuKazoo grows, the frequency of Kazoodles and survey questions is expected to increase! Classifying KazoodlesKazoodles can be listed in more than one category in the archives. What if I don’t see my Kazoodle or Kazoolife survey suggestion in NuKazoo?NuKazoo reserves the right to edit all submissions before presenting them on NuKazoo. In addition, NuKazoo will decide when and if a submission should be presented. The submitting individual is free to contact us at any time with questions! RegisteringWhat’s the benefit of registering with NuKazoo?It's a great idea! If you register with NuKazoo you will receive regular emails from us with the latest Kazoodle, as well as Kazoolife survey questions and summarized results. What if I want to change my email address that I have registered with NuKazoo?If you want to change your email address with NuKazoo, just unsubscribe with your old email address, and register again using your new email address.
